2412 is a series of twelve performances that each take place over a 24-hour period. The second of these, entitled Station. features artist Senalka Dyan McDonald who will perform from Friday, March 26 at 8pm to Saturday, March 27 at 8pm.
Left alone with the sounds of her day, barbed hopes and piles of provisions, Senalka Dyan McDonald will use her body as a means of communicating her place. How far can a forced truth take her?
Senalka Dyan McDonald is a visual artist and performer from Dallas, Texas and Panama City, Panama. She creates textiles, paintings, videos, photographs and performance pieces. Her work has been exhibited at Art Palace, Isese Gallery, and Co Lab Project Space, among others. She lives and works in Austin, Texas.
