Riff: Artists Wura-Natasha Ogunji and Jorge Rojas engage in a 24-hour improvisatory exchange using raw materials (paper, thread, wax) and sensory elements (sound, light, mirrors) to experiment with new ways of communicating through space and time.

Wura-Natasha Ogunji is a visual artist and performer. Her work investigates the connections between physical actions of the body, memory, history and power. Her performance works include videos in which she engages her own body in explorations of movement and mark-making across land, water and air.
Jorge Rojas is a multidisciplinary artist whose work centers on the creation and processes involved in artistic production. Rojas uses both traditional and new media as well as performative elements to investigate communication systems and the effect of technology on artistic production, social structures and communities.

Left alone with the sounds of her day, barbed hopes and piles of provisions, Senalka Dyan McDonald will use her body as a means of communicating her place. How far can a forced truth take her?
Senalka Dyan McDonald is a visual artist and performer from Dallas, Texas and Panama City, Panama. She creates textiles, paintings, videos, photographs and performance pieces. Her work has been exhibited at Art Palace, Isese Gallery, and Co Lab Project Space, among others. She lives and works in Austin, Texas.

Using her body as a vessel, materials (plaster, clay, words, paint, fabric, spices, stillness, drawing) will be contained in a continuous performance during which multiple recordings (casts and prints) will be produced to describe a single pose over twenty-four hours. Each record will contribute to a collection of one (moment, body, place, time).
Nicole Vlado is an artist, architect/designer and third generation non‐driver from New York City. She creates prints, sculpture, and performance pieces and her work has been exhibited at Anja Hitzenberger’s Changing Room and Medialia Gallery in New York City, as well as Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Tijuana, Mexico. She lives and works in Austin.
